Congratulations to our winners, our finalists and all participants in Sandalwood Reimagined
Quintis Sandalwood together with the American Society of Perfumers invited perfumers to create a fragrance that made Indian sandalwood (Santalum album) the hero.
Perfumers from across the globe tested their creativity and craft, inspired by our muse, Indian sandalwood. Fragrance submissions were judged under rigorous conditions by a panel of professional perfumers from the American Society of Perfumers on blotter and skin.

Judging
Fragrance submissions were blindly assessed by an independent panel of fragrance professionals with global experience spanning New York, Paris and Geneva working for companies including Givaudan, Firmenich, IFF, Symrise, Takasago and Mane to create fragrances for iconic brands like Estée Lauder, Ralph Lauren, Coty, DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger and Fabergé.
After several rounds of blind judging, assessing the fragrances on blotter and skin, the top 10 Finalists were selected. Read more about the art of judging perfumery here.
The competition culminated in the Global Winner and Emerging Talent winner being named at the World Perfumery Congress in Miami on 1 July 2022.
Our Winners
We are proud to announce the two winners of our 2022 Sandalwood Reimagined perfume competition. Both winners were announced at the 2022 World Perfumery Congress in Miami by Quintis CEO Richard Henfrey and President and Vice President of the American Society of Perfumers Vince Kuczinski and Sherri Sebastian.
These two winners were selected from a pool of over 300 incredible perfumers from around the world to be crowned our winners.
